WHO IS SAHAR?
SAHAR AJAMI is an Oslo based Iranian artist. She started her profession when she was a student after she won several prizes in cartoon festivals. She started working as a freelance artist after graduating from the University of Art in Tehran. Her practice embraces illustration, graphic, children picture books and theater designs.
Sahar has worked on projects ranging from textbooks for primary school as well as award-winning cartoons and illustrations. Her works have been included in over 20 books and a wide variety of Illustration, cartoons and art catalogs. Currently, She is working on visual research focused on female characters in Ibsen's dramas.
In 2018 together with 5 other women, founded Beyond Art Oslo; Ultimately Beyond Art mission is through art, to create a better world.
